I am a filmmaker and television freelancer originally from Slovakia. I grew up in a small village nestled in the Carpathian Mountains, deeply influenced by Ruthenian culture and the rich tradition of rural songs and storytelling—early inspirations for my passion for drama and the moving image.

After earning an MA in Drama in Czechia and an MA in Filmmaking in Scotland, I’ve worked with several major production companies, including ITV, BBC, and CBBC, primarily in factual television and documentary filmmaking. My experience spans a wide range of production roles, including research, fact-checking, archive sourcing, casting, scriptwriting, shoot coordination, and cinematography.

Alongside my television work, I also create short fiction films, many of which have been recognized and awarded at international film festivals.

I recently founded Dreaming Cat Productions, a company dedicated to building an inclusive, sustainable creative space for both children and adults from diverse social backgrounds, including those with disabilities.

My work often involves collaboration with refugees, immigrants, people with disabilities, at-risk youth, and children—an experience that continues to shape my commitment to socially engaged storytelling.

The next step in my creative journey is to develop feature-length documentaries, feature fiction films, and original series for children—projects that reflect my passion for inclusive, meaningful, and imaginative storytelling.
