I am a Filmmaker and a TV Freelancer originally from Slovakia. I grew up in a small village surrounded by the Carpathian mountains and Ruthenian culture.

Rural songs and storytelling inspired my interest in drama and moving images.

After completing an MA Drama course in Czechia and an MA Filmmaking course in Scotland, I have worked for several production companies, including ITV, BBC and CBBC. I have worked in factual TV and documentaries.
I am experienced in researching, factual checking, archive sourcing, casting, writing scripts, setting up shoots, and cinematography.

In addition to working for TV, I also produce short fiction films, many of which have been awarded at festivals worldwide.

I have recently established a non-profit production company in Eastern Slovakia called Umenie na hran(i)e - Playful Art. Our commitment is to form an inclusive and sustainable creative environment for children and adults of all social backgrounds and disabilities.

I am experienced working with refugees, immigrants, people with disabilities, young people at risk of sexual and criminal exploitation, and children.
